Acne scars, stretch marks, crinkling, or surgical scars—all of these not only leave a pit on the skin but also a pit in the confidence level. There is a wonderful minimally invasive procedure called microneedling with radiofrequency, commonly known as MNRF. This simple, safe yet effective procedure was initially introduced for skin rejuvenation requirements, but over the years the technology has been used in wide indications with good results. The last decade has observed regular technological advancement in this device, making it more and more sophisticated and beneficial in providing results for darker complexions. Because there is always a risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in such skin types.
Microneedling with radiofrequency is recommended for a wide range of indications by doctors and aestheticians worldwide.
MNRF treatment cost in Delhi depends on the service provider and the appliance used to deliver radiofrequency with micro needling. The cost varies with the area of concern and with the experience of the doctor.
MNRF for face—15000 rupees per session
MNRF for body—18000 rupees per session
This novel therapeutic treatment involves first the puncturing of skin with insulated needles followed by RF induction, which leads to electrothermal tissue reaction and coagulation at the selected depth. The RF has an affinity to warm tissue, and because of the use of a cooling tip, the energy penetrates deeper. The white blood cell infiltration in the area helps in accelerated wound healing along with dermal remodeling followed by fibroblast activity and increased expression of cytokines and growth factors. The heat shock proteins, along with the extracellular matrix and several other interleukins, result in neocollagenesis and neoelastogenesis. Finally, the increased dermal proliferation, differentiation, and hyaluronic content lead to overall skin rejuvenation.
The technology-driven, appliance-based procedure is generally considered safe. However, as there is a lot of action happening on the site of concern, with multiple needles puncturing the skin and heat in the form of radiofrequency adding on to the strength of the session, there are some self-limiting impacts seen. These impacts are transient and subside in a few minutes to a few hours.
