A cutaneous growth commonly seen on the body in the form of small, heaped-up tissue. This projecting benign mass of skin is scientifically known as achrochordon and is composed of loose collagen fibers and blood vessels found in the epidermis. These outgrowths are common in both men and women. These noticeable excrescences are widely seen around the neck and axilla. However, their presence is possible anywhere on the body. These pedunculated, skin-colored, brown papules are also associated with obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. It is noticed that the guests with skin tags are at higher risk for metabolic syndromes.
These are tiny growths of skin hanging off from the body, ranging from a few millimeters to a few centimeters. These soft, fleshy, harmless growths are common on sites of friction, like the neck, armpit, under the breast, or groin, where the skin forms creases.
